Christian Poetry Critique is a new email discussion group dedicated to improving member poets' writing skills. The group is recruiting members in order to begin activity around July 1st, 2006.
This list works with Christian poetry in the broadest sense, not only with Christian themes, with no denominational or theological slant. Thus, it is not a list for erotic, dark, violent, or base language.
The moderator works mainly with traditional poetry, but all forms are welcome. He is a published poet.
The highest character and behavior are expected of group members.
Members should offer at least two critiques for each submission made. This is not a list to "share" your poetry, as such, but to improve writing skills through effective critique.
All posts should be made as plain text. Attachments will be automatically stripped from posts.
Submissions to this list for critique are not considered published, since no poem posted may be reproduced and the list is a closed list for its members. This allows the poet to submit a critiqued poem for submission to magazines and sites as an unpublished work. As such, only moderators can access the archives.
